Are mobile scooters welcome?
Yes, provided that the driver of the scooter takes care and is aware that the space may be crowded and they proceed with extreme caution.

They are not specifically excluded, but because we ask that you leave the place as you find it, that includes making sure none are left in the ceiling.
Can I bring indoor children’s bikes/scuttle bugs, etc. into the halls?
Yes, but please take care not to scratch the floor!
Can I have a BBQ or Hog Roast in the garden?
No, BBQs and Hog Roasts are not permitted anywhere on site as our insurance doesn’t cover this.

The Village Hall does not have a licence to cover the sale of alcohol.
Do I need a music licence?
No, we pay the appropriate fees to allow music to be played.
Do I need to clear up and/or remove rubbish after my booking?
Yes. The hall provides cleaning equipment for users and we must insist that the hall is tidied and cleaned ready for the next hirer. Users are responsible for leaving the hall or room that they booked, plus toilets, kitchen (including appliances, crockery, etc.) and foyer in a clean and tidy condition.
Please return crockery and cutlery, etc., to the cupboard where you found them.
All rubbish must be taken off site so please also bring a bin liner with you.
Do the halls comply with the latest regulations for accessibility?
Yes. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible. We have two disabled parking bays immediately outside the main entrance.
We do have a toilet that is accessible and provides support bars. However, the door is not necessarily wide enough for a wheelchair and we advise you personally check the suitability prior to booking if wheelchair access is required.
